I have a serial number for a HP spectre x360, however it's just over a grand and don't know how hard it would be to SE.
Wondering if anyone has any knowledge about it, or methods?

Some may be harder than others, but It's possible with any company.
It's Imperative to read their terms, namely the refund/exchange policy. Prepare and formulate your SE based on your findings.
