Does Steelseries still require proof of destruction in UK? Or do they need to send the item back to them?
I'm planning of finding some cheap damaged Steelseries products on eBay to break them and use them as proof of destruction. I just want to know if it is worth the investment first.

This Is their latest warranty RMA process, updated 2 days ago.
The focal point Is the following snippet, namely the last (underlined) paragraph.
Quote:If approved, you will receive instructions on how to fulfill the claim. This will be one of the following processes:
Destroy on Site process: The agent will instruct you to destroy your product and provide "Proof of Destruction" according to the parameters we outline for each particular product.
Return shipping label process: Under some circumstances, we may request the defective product to be returned to our warehouse or office for inspection. In this case, the agent will provide a return label with postage paid.
The "under some circumstances" needs to be Identified to avoid the proof of destruction.

I bought the used keyboard. I ll buy a new one from Argos and return back the used one. Then use the serial from the new one to get one more from Steelseries.
I ll just use the new one to photoshop POD. I can even fold the cable under the keyboard and use a second USB cable to cut. Has anyone done that?
This way I ll have 2 working keyboards.
Is it ok if I buy a headset instead of keyboard with the warranty coupon they ll give me? Or will it raise flags?
This way I ll have a headset for photoshopping.

Not sure if this chat is true or not but, I do know some that he added several people from different forums on discord and blocked them soon after he finished talking to them,
which raises concerns.
