Well, for some reason it isn't working for me...

My upload is 1 mb/s and my download 2 mb/s and my ping is 14 ms.
But I don't have gaming internet and whatever.

And I don't really care about the download and upload speed, I never upload anything (well sometimes) but no files higher than 50 mb, so...
I download a lot, waiting a few minutes is no problem for me.

Whenever I purchase a new game, I do it at night and then I let the download run overnight.

So it isn't bothering me.
Oh and my ping is great, no lag.

Running servers aint that fun if its less than 100mbps
Im paying an extra 40€ but its more than worth

You're quite fortunate that those speeds are available.

In my locality, I can't get anywhere near that.

I think it's set up so that the connections to speedtest.net are faster than others.
I get 890 kb/s max when downloading games from steam
