Depend on what I am doing, for maximim security ofcourse, since I am in the USA I use a russian VPM. While the cold war is over Russia is not big about giving information to the US. In fact they wont.

Did you read the article about Russia possibly kicking out facebook, twitter unless they locate their servers in their country and not the US?

I read the fully random mac change can cause some problems without the factory codes on certain cites and services. Hmm might be better to create a static mac change with an authentic factory code not my own. Smile thanks

It also wouldn't hurt to start your journey by going through a public wifi, but this of course has its own dangers.

Also it tripped me out a little bit when I saw my own username but I figured PHPBB added a new feature to allow for "[username]".

Nice..

Wouldn't recommend MAC Spoofing since it doesn't help alot. You can spoof all the PC if you want

One of the several dangers of accessing public Wi-Fi is the sniffing of Wi-Fi. Many people will sniff passwords while accessing public Wi-Fi networks. There are ways of course to protect yourself from this.

Hey guys,

So I read the guide and learnt that I am mostly using pseudonimity and not anonymity (which I'd preffer to use).

But for starters, I'd like to learn how to HIDE my email address (or present a fake one) when emailing someone. Apart of creating a new email address ofcourse.

And how can I have my IP hidden or use a fake one ? Meant in a every process, not just when you click on a link or something like that.
Can you somehow mask it by yourself? Or do you need to use external software? ( I am not a fan of that, as I think that if someone provides such service, that very person can also reverse his code).

If someone can please help me on these two subjects, or can reference me to another tutorial that I missed - I'd be very grateful.

Cheers.

You can create email addresses with fake information or you can create an email address with Tor which won't lead to you

Thanks for replying Ex094.
Is that the only way? Is there no way for the following example to be true:

Using GMAIL, I am sending an email to someone, whom I dont want to reveal myself (lets say my address is: name.lastname@Gmail.com).

When the person opens the Mail. He/she can see the from whom was it sent. My wish is that in that line, it would say: 'Hidden'.

Is that possible?

Cheers.

Well there are self destructing emails that delete themselves after a specified period of time set by the sender

OK, thank you again. So there is really no way to hide your email for the recipent to see.

Do you have any suggestion who can I hide my IP or use a fake one, while I am browsing forums / websited ?

Use a VPN simply, If you are using Chrome I recommend Zen Mate, Really decent VPN for surfing
