Due to private possessions, It's locked, hence no one Is to know the locker's contents. So they'd claim that they had valuables stolen, and you'd be the first to be questioned.
well you shouldn't even be smoking or having tobacco products in some schools, so they will most likely not report things they shouldn't even have at school in the first place.

Generally speaking, yes I do agree. On these grounds you'd be turning yourself In by reporting It.
On the other hand, not all school protocols are evenly Implemented. And some tend to turn a blind eye.
