I did experience Issues when Windows 10 was officially released, but It was relative to my lappy (hardware) and not the OS Itself.
If your mum's PC was shipped with Windows 10 (OEM), generally, shouldn't be any Issues with stability and functionality.

No it was shipped with win 7, she upgraded to win 10.

Given It was an upgrade (officially) via Microsoft, the probability of experiencing Issues Is less likely- particularly If It was done In Its latter stages when known bugs were fixed.
