Last DNA before 3 weeks ago was over a year prior.
So you're planning to hit the DNA on the new account that has no association to your primary account, correct?

Sorry, no. Completely the opposite. I am doing this on the same account I’ve used personally for years that I recently did a DNA on. The fresh new account with no links asked for signature whereas my old account did not. Because of this, I went ahead and ordered with my primary account.

I really wasn’t expecting a signature on Amazon with a fresh account when my primary doesn’t. I was wondering what to make of this.

Understood.

What was the value of the Items ordered on each account - the fresh and the primary one?

RE: Walmart DNA Advice? - AmazonianDNARace - 08-01-2022

Fresh account has no orders.

Primary has few 10 dollar orders and 1 100 dollar order. That’s besides the 600 dollar SE and 800 I want to do.

Other posts mention that ups/fedex don’t have time to check for ID so a signature is enough.
^ That's why I questioned the ID.

If It's checked, I'm trying to establish whether the driver "takes a copy of the ID", or purely looks at It. If It's the latter, It's useless - the driver's word cannot be used to verify the ID.

If It's dumped at your doorstep, the DNA Is good to go, regardless of the Item value.

@mothered Got some updates and looking for some more advice.

I returned the monitor to Walmart and received the refund for the whole amount. I ordered the replacement from Amazon.

Delivery happened two days ago by USPS and it was left on the porch. Today I claimed DNA and 2 minutes later was asking for a PR and received the OFM refund email.

We recently reviewed your account for order activity details. Your order history shows that you have received a high number of refunds for items that were missing from your orders.

We know that occasional problems with orders are expected in the normal course of business. In these instances, a refund or replacement may be issued.

I asked if there was an actual investigation and to look into it but was told they will look into the case after a PR.

My conundrum here is I don’t want family accounts being closed although I don’t mind mine being closed. OFM seems to mean that any further SE is risking account closure.

Should I file the PR and go forward with the SE, risking account closure for my family as well. Or should I just return and call it a failed attempt?

Have you actually performed a high volume of refunds on the account?

File the PR.

The OFM'd account Is separate from your family accounts - their order history Is unrelated. If they were at risk of closure, they would've also received an OFM.

I have a lot of legitimate returns. There’s maybe 3 total SE refunds on the account. Only one recent and not from years ago is the iPad from 3 weeks ago. Admittedly they are high ticket items.

I went ahead and filed PR. I responded to their email with the PR and received the exact same email back. I don’t know if they saw it or what they’re doing. Was I supposed to just reply to the email with the attached PR? I’m perplexed as to why they sent the same email back when I sent a PR.

In that case, It doesn't warrant an OFM.

Ask them to explain why you received the email.

Did you actually send the PR as an attachment?

Will do so.

And yes, I’ve responded to the Amazon email mentioning police report 3 separate times with the PR as an attachment and nothing else.

Update: Finally received a response and they didn’t accept the PR because the status isn’t on there. They recommend to send the URL but I can’t find my case on there yet. Also, no clue if a URL can even be shared. I don’t see why they can’t just call and verify directly.

What are they referring to with the "status"?
