Do I take the L on this SE? I'm not sure what else I can do besides tell Amazon I "found" the Airpods box and then do a return and try SE again with the next order, and if that doesn't work just sell the Airpods for my money back. Tell Amazon that the police refused to provide the report based on the above grounds. They verified this with the police and then offered me a refund. In short, the SE was successful. Are the police going to contact me? @mothered RE: Question - mothered - 04-05-2022 (04-05-2022, 12:41 PM)A1.lds Wrote: As expected, they asked for a police report, I filed one and contacted amazon straight after. Okay, I will go ahead and let them know, hopefully they take that as an answer. Another question I have unrelated is regarding using a different billing address while using a VPN to hide traceable info. Do I pick a random address based in the city/location I have the VPN set in? (Is it risky, as that billing address could belong to someone?) UPDATE: So I called Amazon and told them accordingly that the police refuse to give a PR, then Amazon said there is nothing they can do without that PR and the best thing I can do is file a claim with the carrier (USPS). I told Amazon that I had called the carrier and that the carrier said to take it up with Amazon but the Amazon CS insisted that I had to file a claim.
