And what happens when the driver scans It at both the depot and the drop off point, and the tracking Information shows the consignor & consignee details?

The author of the FTID (Bob or whatever his name Is), believes we're living In the 70s, where carrier drivers deliver as per the shipping label. He has very little clue of how major freight companies operate nowadays. He can't even get the title right- since when Is the "Tracking ID" fake? It's the shipment that's manipulated, and not the tracking details.

It's my pleasure to be of help.

I'm In the process (half-way through) of writing an In depth article on my blog pertaining to drops. It's not far from completion, and will certainly answer any question you may have.

I guess what I'm curious about is what kind of safeguards a fulfillment center is going to have in place (if any) to verify contents of a shipment before it's sent out.
It depends on the weight of the Item.

If It's light enough to not register a weight on consignment, then the shipment cannot be cross-checked with the carrier's manifest.

Thanks for this....is there a safe “weight range” of sorts for lightweight items that wouldn’t register? Say less than 8oz? Or even lighter?

As a rule of thumb, a maximum of 120 grams- and that's pushing It to Its limit.

This of course pertains to companies who open Investigations, and not those who're half-asleep and approve claims.

whats the most you would do paying cash.. i mean a £1200 phone bought with cash will surely raise some eyebrows when you come in to return it.. they would need to find 1200 in their tills.. which would create a scene no?

Don't ask oblivious questions such as "how do I SE Starbucks" or "is steelseries still possible" as they obviously are.

Got an idea from a different member.

Copscalled.

In terms of monetary value, what's the most you've SE'd in one go?

In terms of SE around 7000$, I’ve refunded 2000$ via amazon. The 7000$ SE was with plane tickets, and the refund was with a fireplace.

how did you do plane tickets? very interested!

Just to be very clear, there might be some risks with the empty box method too, I don't want to enter in detail now, but let's see what happened.

I am curious too to know the outcome of this SE.
curious were you referring to me and my question or someone elses?

Both. You and also everyone might be in your same circumstances.

It's a little too heavy for the missing Item method.

The sealed box, wrong Item received and of course the DNA, are all well-suited.

So let's say Wrong Item received, and the item that I've received instead of it has started fire and I have had to instantly dispose of it for healthy & safety purposes?Smile
