I requested my refund saying I didn't get anything in the box, I had to send pictures of the empty box and the label and the support guy sent my case to the appropriate department and said my refund will be made on the payment method I bought the VR headset with. So I think it still works. I'm waiting for their next answer

you should've ordered it while logged out and preferably a device where you haven't used fb

Facebook accounts are now not compulsory, you can use a brand new meta account.

Now that FB accounts are not needed anymore, I simply created a Meta account and keep using the same headset. So far so good!

It is better to wait until the end of the refund before turning on the headset, right?
