RE: Damn Son! - Almighty - 10-28-2016

If you're looking to get an in-house developer, I would say build the userbase back up because personally I wouldn't work on something that's dead or I believe isn't going to go anywhere without pay.

True that, I can't do that myself though. It would require a handful of people's efforts to bring SBB back to its glory. I have little connections to other forums, I know very little about forum marketing and SEO.

I would personally love to help build activity back up, I could probably get a few of my the members from my discord on here and have them post. I've had ideas for quite awhile, granted that was a couple months ago when the forum was new but they could still encourage some activity and community interaction.

The easiest thing we can do as of now is host a referral contest. It has it's pros and cons, cons being potential spammers and low quality members, but it could also bring more activity. Oh, and I can actually staff for once xD

Something to lure in members is what we need. Not SEO (which is useless for a forum this small). Our members need to come from ads or word of mouth for now.

I would be down with helping you out with that, on top of that I'll probably host a couple wave upgrades so the new and old members have a chance at getting upgraded.

The upgrades should be free, no need to waste your hard earned money.

The only thing I have going for me is that I try to be an active and positive member of any forum I join.

That's up to you, I'm fine with paying for 2 or 3 of them

That's perfectly fine because every little bit counts towards the forum
