I think everyone needs to calm themselves a bit in this thread. The ban was clearly a bug in a system, and all will be resolved soon if not already. I agree that 2460h1 could have probably handled this a bit more cool-headed, but at least we now know the answers and understand what happened.
2460h1, for what it's worth I notice your ban yesterday and thought it was a bit peculiar. I can understand the frustration and I'm sorry to hear that you experienced the negative consequence of an error, but perhaps tone down the language a bit. I can respect the frustration, but there's no need to fly off the handle. Since it sounds like you've been in the technology field for a while, I'm sure you can understand that sometimes people accidentally things.

Either way you have accused me of spamming these forums and have made a concerted effort to defame my character. The evidence is now available for all those to see and decide for themselves whether I am a spammer as you suggested, or you in fact an idiot.
And if it wasnt entirely fucking obvious from my last response then perhaps I should make it clearer: I don't care if it stays. I wasn't asking nor was I going to ask for it to be removed.

I never attempted to defame you. I didn't even look at your posts. All I saw was your name filling the last poster column in the statistics table at the bottom. I have actually made no effort whatsoever to "defame" you, that would be a waste of my time anyways for the way you are so obviously overreacting, especially with your use of language, and insults that have no reason behind them. I did not insult you, I did not call you "idiot", nor did I curse at you. Case closed.

This to me isn't even me flying off the handle. This is primarily incredulity and using certain language for added emphasis. There is really no offence intended to anyone in this thread other than perhaps Equinox who I believe is a complete and utter fuckwit. And every time he hops back on the keyboard to say something else he just confirms it a bit more.

@2460h1 If you have any questions or concerns about the issue at hand, feel free to ask in this thread. Otherwise, if the issue seems solved, close the thread.
@Equinox If you have concerns about whether he was spamming or deserving of his reputation, just PM us or chat with him privately about that matter.

Regardless of whether you intend offence or not, your use of profanity is becoming excessive. I'd encourage you to review the rules since you are new. I'll highlight the particular section
