RE: Random Philips info - Andrea Bags - 09-04-2022

just got off chat, brand new unit replacement is bring sent to me, Canada

RE: Random Philips info - Ordnael92 - 09-04-2022

I'm trying to get a Sonicare 9900 Prestige myself using a SN and the disposed of the faulty item method.
Got on chat and told the rep the toothbrush overheated and began smoking from its handle while I was brushing my teeth, smoke alarm started ringing, condo doorman was alerted and almost called the fire dep, I kept coughing through the whole night... built up a little "this could've ended in tragedy!" drama.
They wished to know my SN, preferably with a photo: I told'em I had stored it written on a piece of paper as I usually do with all my electronics.
Then they asked for the defective toothbrush: told'em the doorman and I called a special waste disposal service to come and collect it because we didn't want to deal with that contraption anymore (my wife didn't want it in the house, my young son was terrified after having been woken up by the smoke alarm, the doorman considered it unsafe for the whole condo...). They didn't seem pleased at all that I threw it away: they would've loved to inspect it in order to improve the safety of the toothbrush.
They asked for POP: I don't have a legit one, thus I told'em it was a gift.
Then they asked for an eventual fire dep report (told'em they never came because they weren't needed, thus no report) and/or medical prescriptions (edited one of an old pharyingitis of mine).
Last heard from them on Saturday, they're probably away for the weekend. I hope they'll hit me up tomorrow, else I'll go back to chat or maybe phone them.

They were craving for a return, so I told'em I got the faulty toothbrush handle back and I could return it to them.
They organized the return, and I gave the courier a box that's apparently been tampered with.
Now I'm waiting to be contacted by them once they receive the empty box

Hopefully the driver doesn't notice the Inconsistencies In the very early stages of shipment.

We'll see how they respond.

I made it evident but not overly evident, and he had a package trolley full of other boxes.
I'll remain adamant on the fact I went to great lenghts in order to fetch that damn broken handle and return it

Good work.

You've prepared It very well, and the driver's workload will certainly draw attention away from your package.

I did my best in order to avoid it, but it looks like they became more demanding in Europe.
I read of people succeeding after boxing them, so boxing it is for me too Wink
