Well you do have it in writing that he'll do it. A quick search shows that it doesn't matter if the seller refunds during or after as far as the metrics are concerned so he doesn't have a good reason to make that request of you. Tell him no.

That's the purpose of the dispute - to obtain a refund, and not cancel It prior to receiving It.

Given the seller Is willing to settle, the dispute will take care of Itself thereafter.
