In terms of the wrong Item received, although It's a kit, there's too many parts to justify a single Incorrect Item dispatched. That Is, the warehouse may store the parts separately and the storemen pick them Individually to form the kit.
The DNA Is well-suited, but make sure that they're responsible for loss of goods/packages during transit. Also, see whether the driver accepts a signature on delivery and/or If photos are taken.

If the Item Is light enough to not register a weight on consignment, use the missing Item method.
