I give credit to @copscalled for that view. he was the one who first brought it up in this thread

True, but his arrogance that was demonstrated along with the view was very selfish.

I do agree though. If there was a pinned post with the contents being along the lines of what you mentioned before about - ‘keeping an open mind’ and  ‘Experimenting and contributing.’ Hopefully it would decongest the 15,000+ topics of SE. I’m not saying that beginners shouldn’t ask questions, but thinking outside the box has been very beneficial to me personally - Plus, creating your own methods usually ensures that they don’t get saturated quickly. I do agree with you. @copscalled said in this thread
"for other members contributing before I fully return. Or at least until I see a member try and help to restart this community"

It's not too late to take this subforum in a new direction: one in which everyone will want to learn and experiment.

Mind explaing the arrogance?
Do you mean by which he says that social engineering will always be simple?

His first sentence: "me think about some things including the lack of intelligent people in this world and especially in this forum." He talks about a lack of intelligent people in this world, and especially this forum, in a very generic manner. If he was more specific about who the people actually were, then it would be a valid point, but he is being so generic to the point of obvious arrogance.

If you are worried about consumers, then you can only invite specific people to your group; people who are producers.  Smile

Maybe having a discord for the "producers" will be a good idea. There we can discuss and share. At the same time we can't just leave out those that either aren't experienced enough or don't know social engineering in the first place. I'll have to think about this

I believe what he means by "lack of intelligence" is the observation of people not caring about the SE aspect, but that more people care about the end result.

Perhaps people wishing to join who are not chosen, could fill out an application to provide evidence of some experience, and if they show enough will, they could be accepted, and, if they are not contributing, they could simply be kicked out. Just a thought, though.

And who, exactly, specifically, are these "people"?

This Is a very broad statement, that's Impossible to cover the entire globe, statistically or otherwise.

People who don't care for learning.
Well, that's my interpretation. If @copscalled could come clarify himself, that would be great
