There are no posts on this thread by anyone who has actually done business with me. I am only upset by comments like "Has anyone else been screwed over..." which are untrue - there are posts on other forums where those I have helped have went back out and said that I did so. I ask them to go back to the forum they found me and and post, but I can't make them do it.

I understand that you are trying to make a buck, but this thread is not about making money off one another, it is about sharing mutual information to help crack the system in place, so that we can all unlock these devices and make money. If you have information pertaining to that then by all means please share, you are not required to do so, but please refrain from future posts about your sales on threads advocating the sharing of information. If you wish too get more "sales", please make a post in the Marketplace offering your services. Thank you and have a great day.

Ok everyone, just like all of you I have had this Nextbook 10 with the bullshit activation for a few months, I also have been searching for anything that would help me crack or decipher the 6 digit code, along the way on nearly every forum was the JOHNTV guy, I finally emailed him and he told me what to send him, at which time I tried one more time and searched for the DISA file crack which let me here, well long story short I grabbed a prepaid debitcard, he emailed me the paypal invoice, paid it and within 20 minutes he emailed me the 6 digit code, and the code worked lol I very rarely comment on any forum unless it will be completely useful and not a waste of time, therefore heres that comment, I understand if this is a site where people share the answers but at the same time this dude got the golden goose and he doesn't give his eggs away for free, well worth the 15 bucks the Nextbook 10 is a great tablet, worth far more in my opinion than the 60 dollar price tag. He has my absolute recommendation. Nice work bud. POS activation my ass! Now go get your codes hehehe

Sorry for the delay. Here are the steps to bypass the POS activation screen and to be able to use the tablet and the majority of it's features. This is not a complete removal and the activation lock is still present, but so far from what I have read the only things that are issues are the following:
1. Can't enable USB Debugging. You can enable Developer Options and change any of the other settings.
2. The activation screen will come back upon rebooting the system. If you follow the steps I give and install the apps I recommend then you can easily get around the activation screen after rebooting in just a couple steps.
3. I was only able to install apps via the Play Store. Even with unknown sources checked I couldn't get any apps from my SD car d or ones downloaded from the web to install. After initiating the install it would just sit there saying "installing" and never go any further.
Other than that I think that's the only things that had limitations as far the testing i did. I'm currently trying to get USB debugging enabled so that I can remove the POS activation through ADB. I've been able to temp boot TWRP Recovery and I think it's a matter of time before I can obtain Root and hopefully remove it completely. There's not much info on rooting this device, buy I know some of the rooting procedures for the Area 8 and 11 at least partially work for this device.
I don't have the tablet in front of me so my steps will not be exact. Once I have the chance to I will make more exact instructions. Otherwise, feel free to ask any questions.
What you will need:
1. Nextbook Ares 10a Tablet (May work for others, but I've only done it on this model)
2. Micro USB OTG Cable/Adapter
3. USB Keyboard
4. Wi-Fi Internet Connection
Instructions:
1. Boot tablet to the POS Activation screen and hook up your OTG Adapter with the keyboard attached to it.
2. Hold "Windows" key and the on-screen keyboard should pop-up.
3. Hold the button to the left of the space bar on the on-screen keyboard to be able to select the "Keyboard Settings" icon.
4. Select the "Keyboard Settings" option.
5. Select the "Dictionary" option and then "Personal Dictionary"
6. There should be an option in here to add a word to your dictionary. Select that and get it to the point where you can type in your new word.
7. Enter some random characters and then highlight those characters and it should give you the "Assist" option.
8. Selecting the "Assist" option should now bring you to the Google Now Search screen. Start typing in the word "Settings" and it should come up with the "Settings" icon under the search bar.
9. After entering settings go to Wi-Fi and connect to your network.
10. Then go to Apps and hit the 3 dots in the top right corner and select "Show System". Scroll down until you see "Setup Wizard" and select it. Force close the app the select "Storage" and clear all data.
11. Go back to the Google Now Search screen and type in "Play Store" and select it.
12. In the Play Store search the word "Sidebar" and install the Sidebar Lite app by Mohammed Abid.
13. Open Sidebar after it installs and this will make navigating much easier as you can swipe from the left side of the screen at any time and be able to quickly access any app.
14. Use Sidebar to go back to the play store and search the app "QuickShortcutMaker" by Sika524 and install it.
15. Open QuickShortcutMaker and scroll down until you see "Setup Wizard" and select it. It should drop down with 3 options. Select the middle option and then hit "Try".
16. You should be at a new setup screen asking about Wifi or Time/Date ( can't remember off-hand which it is exactly). Now just hit "Next" 2 or 3 times and "Finish" when the option appears.
You are now into the system and can use it almost completely. If you reboot or somehow get the activation screen again just swipe from the left side of the screen and Sidebar should come out. Just go to settings and force close "Setup Wizard" and clean data again. Then use QuickShortcutMaker to repeat steps 15 &16 again.
