When someone murders (without any doubt) more than 2 people or a law enforcement officer, they're defective and need to be put down. Dogs are often euthanized when they are ill and treatment can't be afforded. In a world with limitless resources, I'd see no reason not to just leave them in a cell with food/whatnot to rot. However, resources are scarce and taxes are supposed to represent what the population wants to pay for. Nobody wants to pay for killers/sociopaths to eat and sleep. It should be a penalty reserved for the worst of humans (i.e. Breivek).

On the other hand, you have Trump, who is willing to get tough on problems that will kill America as a super power if left to the current liberal overlords to ignore and make excuses for.
