My favourite would be VB6, however outdated. I would never return to it though. Once I eventually get back into programming I'm either going to learn Python or C.

Now thats one I wasn't expecting to see.. I always figured the days of VB skiddies were over after the C#/.NET runtime came out.

Mine would have to be python considering its essentially the only language i use on a regular basis, good for quick, easy tasks.

Definitely Python. Was my first language and I love how simple the syntax is and how fast you can create with it.

Super easy and fast to use. You can setup something in Python with fewer lines of code than many other languages.

My favorite is Go because of it's clean syntax, the concurrency model, and the tooling. It's a joy to work with and after dropping C++ and Java to work solely in Go, there is nothing I haven't been able to do in Go that I did with C++ and/or Java. And Go makes it 5x easier (compared to C++).
