I wasnt the one who brought it up, you defended it so I responded...you guys did get hacked. Hardcore. which forced then to get new security. If they didnt, they would still be with that same crapy security.

Completely agree with BrySi. I own both an Xbox 360S and a good ol' PS3. First off, I'm NOT a hardcore gamer. At all. But I have played a good amount on both consoles considering I've had them for many, many years.
I remember that one time that PSN got hacked, and I remember how people started using it as leverage in the PS3 vs 360 arguments. I started doubting PSN myself, but trying my best to avoid ignorance, I did my research. There have been countless hacks against the Xbox 360, and it's targeted like crazy. At the same time, I only remember one single hack against PSN. (I haven't touched each console for months and months though so there might've been one recently. If so, fill me in.) Sony did a great job in an attempt to recover from the compromise, thought obviously it wasn't perfect. Now let's also think about the companies themselves. I personally don't like that Sony is on this whole anti-piracy boat (I don't condone piracy but supporting things like shutting down MegaUpload...). But at the same time, Sony does great things. Recently they bought out Gaikai, and I believe that's a sign for a massive cloud-gaming movement, something that I look forward to. (Any advancement is exciting for me
) While on the other hand, we have Microsoft. The ones that stole the entire GUI idea from Apple computers in 1983. The one with a CEO that's for the money; not for the user. The ones that are known for commonly insecure systems. And you Xbox guys give them money for simply, what... a game!? Buy your $60 game, sure, but you must realize that if this is how you treat the rest of your financials the same way, you can expect an unsuccessful life. So Xbox takes your money excessively, congratulations. That's one loss. Their security isn't the greatest, even better! Now as to the damn controller, it's no big deal! Buy another controller! This goes for both consoles. If I dislike the controller so much that I just can not use it, then I'll spend $30-$75 on a new controller, quite simple. Also, the PS3 is much more fun. How 'bout geohot's PlayStation jailbreak? 
The Xbox also has RROD, which happens all the freakin' time. The legacy YLOD rarely happens. It's not like, "Oh, another RROD, let me go buy another $300 console. No big deal, I'm paying for even more security!" -_- Oh and yes, the little accessories you must buy for the Xbox are unnecessary, such and the charge and play kit piece of crap. And having to change those AA batteries constantly is the most annoying thing ever, if you don't buy that damn charge and play kit. Oh yeah and the PS3 has backward compatibility! Conclusion: Both consoles rock, but I prefer PS3. Nice to have a respectful debate here.
