I have 3 VPS 2 OpenVZ and 1 KVM, which are used for small stuff like downloading random shit, random scripts etc etc, nothing major.
Then I have a kimsufi server hosted @ OVH. Which I use for my main website, my own screen capture service, XMPP, teamspeak and IRC bouncer.

I have 3 servers online running CentOS.
I manage them all primarily via SSH
I use them for various things. Hosting my websites, development environments, VPN's, IRC Bouncers and shit like that.

meant half a rack XD I was drunk when I typed that. Co-location costs where we are planning aren't that much and they have damn good service. Also with the amount of servers that google has....lot's of load balancing
you would need a shit ton of power to take google offline
