Did it via email and got the refund promised but it didn't turn up after 24 hours so I phoned them to check on it then the person manually put the refund through.

I received an email saying they will now be handing it over to the relevant team for investigation and will receive a reply in 3 days

:/ really unlucky

Yeah don't give up hope. Still a good chance if succeeding.

Hi, I'm pursuing this SE but I'm having some trouble and need your guidance. I went with the air fryer and accessories which were sent in 2 different packages but delivered at the same time. I went with EB (air fryer box is missing from the cardboard box but I did receive the other box of accessories), they asked for pic of the accessories which I sent and they made me fill out a declaration of non-receipt form by the carrier (CS of the company are the ones who sent me that pdf, not the carrier). Right after I emailed them the form, they told me they're sending a replacement and will still investigate with the carrier and also to keep an eye out for the air fryer just in case I receive it (so  that if it turns up, I must return one of the 2 units).

After I thought this SE was a success, CS emailed me again asking for a picture of the empty cardboard box I received showing the shipping label. My concern is that the shipping label shows the weight and that the box arrived slightly damaged and torn. Should I just go ahead and send the pics, do nothing or do something else?

Edit to add: I'm worried they'll think that the box is damaged and the air fryer fell out somewhere because of the state of the box, which would mean they'd have to open a carrier investigation. I could say that the box arrived in a perfect state and that the damage is because I folded it to throw it in the trash.

If they haven't shipped the replacement yet, they probably won't until they get the picture of the label so you really have no option but to send it. You could probably wait a day or two and see if they ship the replacement without the picture, but if they don't, you'll have to send it. I've had to do the same before for eb claims where it clearly shows the weight, but it didn't matter and the claim was still successful.

Go ahead and send the picture in my opinion when I've done EB claims they've asked for a picture of the label and it's always been fine

How did you contact them?
What exactly did you say to them? (Roughly)

How long did it take and roughly what was the item value?

Have a family member who could use some stuff

Same as this thread. The big fuck off brown box was empty no unit or unit box. I'm pretty disappointed and at this point want a refund. Was slow reply like 2 days to get back to me but after black friday it's expected. I did accessories too but they showed up different day so no idea if actually required. Was offered replacement or send back accessories as they can't do part refund. No idea why but whatever. £250 value roughly. First reply was their offer so its a very simple SE no effort involved really. I was scared if it didn't work because those things aren't the nicest thing to be lugging into the post office to return.

You can call them too but I opted for email because I don't like to sit in call waits ages. Personal preference.

Has anyone done this recently and able to confirm it still works? Thanks
