And the warning is for your Amazon account, you use the same account to access different regions. The reason you were even refunded was because of your account history (10 years even if it was in another region).

getting the money back on your card takes days but the refund itself is processed by amazon within couple hours of them requesting the refund, usually.

Same goes for ofm mail. It’s from .co.uk

Amazon Is not region-specific, meaning they have the capacity to check the account history In other localities - which Is what happened In your case.
