Again: This is not the proper way to file a PR, you should file it in the state you're in. BUT were just trying to convince Amz here? Do you think they got the legal knowledge? Do you think they'd care even if they would've?

Just do it, if you don't succeed you will return the items.

The IMEI from the iPhone will be blocked, so you wont be able to use the phone properly.
I would definitely sell the iPhone on the grey market anonymously. Dont use your real name, fake the invoice and you are good to go.
