Yes, It's perfectly fine to box them when your real credentials are used.

I messaged Logitech on Twitter explaining that I’ve had an issue with the scroll wheel and have tried any fix possible, no success. They transferred it to an email where they asked for a receipt.
I told the rep that it was a gift last Christmas and just assumed the serial number would be enough, but if not that’s okay. I was super nice to him.

The next reply I got was them approving my claim and asking for my shipping address, then the next day I got a tracking number with UPS.

It was almost too easy.. I’ve read about people being asked for videos of the mouse with their name on a piece of paper…they didn’t ask for any of that from me.

Laws differ In many regions, so I couldn't tell you without researching It.

That’s surprising to me, it was extremely easy. Almost WAY too easy.
If you actually have the physical mouse in hand, there should be no issues at all.

Here is all I said through Twitter, they created a ticket through email where they asked for the receipt (refer to my original post) and then shipped me the mouse. Got it 2 days after.
