I went to the police station and they were no help at all. I got my case number yesterday however Amazon couldn't cross check with the station because I made my report online. Maybe my case didn't close yet and its still on going. However, Amazon sent me an email saying "If your report isn't complete/closed by 28 February 2023, contact us back and we can issue you the refund. "

What's the purpose of requesting a PR when they Intend to Issue a refund without It?

If so, are you able to attend your local police station to file the report? As such, the claim will move forward towards finalizing It.
