I’m trying to keep it with Walmart and hope that they’re doing an investigation instead. May the odds be in our favor. First they said It's not their problem and expected you to deal with the carrier, and now they don't see an Issue with It and are doing It themselves. RE: Walmart DNA Advice? - AmazonianDNARace - 07-31-2022 @mothered After yesterday I reached back and they are contradicting themselves and saying there’s no one to escalate to. Meaning that no one will get back to me regarding reaching out to FedEx. Rep after rep they are claiming that with signature, they cannot refund and refuse to escalate. Staying to file a dispute. It’s almost like a script and they stonewall and say to file a dispute. I’m thinking there’s a few ways to go about it. 1. File the PayPal dispute and mention how things aren’t lining up. The issue is this approach is that I don’t want to lose the ability to return my order by getting my account closed, or have the dispute take longer than the return period. 2. Return to Walmart and try to get the bot again with another order. 3. Give up on Walmart altogether, return and try the item at either Best Buy, microcenter, or amazon. Thoughts? Appreciate you reading through all of that! The purpose of an escalation, Is to have the claim reviewed by a senior member In an Impartial/unbiased fashion. There are no specific requirements for which It can/cannot be escalated, hence you can request It based on any grounds you see fit. "Demand" the escalation - you're well within your rights to do so. Email every department and get In contact by phone, and do not terminate the call until they attend to your needs. Personally, I'd keep pushing them - If need be, everyday for months, but that's just me. Can you hit a chargeback via your bank? I did pay for it with my apple card through PayPal but I assume they would want me to go through PayPal first or risk my account being closed. Is this right or does PayPal not mind charge backs? Goldman Sachs is also infamously terrible with disputes. I’m not going to run out the return time, I cannot afford the charge so that will be my last option that I do not want to sabotage. Quick edit: I see that it lets me do return as incorrect item received/damaged/etc. Is sending back a different monitor in store risky? I feel as though if they accept the return in store, they can’t really bother me after the fact but I could be wrong. If returned in store and I’m refunded, I wouldn’t mind having my Walmart account closed then. Either saying it’s the wrong item or just doing a sealed box method and hoping they’re too busy. If found out, ill mention that the box was packed in a hurry. |
