Unless they physically check goods at the time of packing, their CCTV camera footage Is useless - It obviously cannot Identify what's Inside the case.
Will most likely avoid them due to this. Thank you for sharing your experience.

THEIR REPLY:
We have now concluded the investigation with our web fulfilment team into your order, we have carried out a full stock check and reviewed CCTV of the packing footage and have also interviewed the person who packed your parcel.

Taking all the evidence in to account we are confident that the item was enclosed inside the parcel upon delivery.

If you wish to proceed with your claim, I advise that you contact either of the following authorities:-
Citizens Advice
Payment Provider
Local Police Authority

What should I do @mothered? I appreciate your help and I'm quite worried.

Did you decide to pursue It?

Based on the outcome in this thread, I will have to wait a little longer.

I'll check back tomorrow for any updates.
They sent an email back:
At this time I can confirm that the investigation is now closed and we will be going no further with this issue.

As mentioned in my previous email, if you would like to continue your claim then you would be best to contact one of the following:

Citizens Advice
Payment Provider
Local Police Authority
If they wish to proceed with their own investigation we would be more than happy to assist them in any way we can.

This would include sharing our full findings as well as our CCTV evidence.

What should I do?

Request your claim be escalated, and ask them to provide the details as mentioned:

Quote:Tell them to email you the CCTV footage that clearly demonstrates the chain was In the case at the time of packing.

Repeated that the case is closed and that they'll take no further action.
Says I should get in touch with my payment providing company if they want to start an investigation then they'll reveal cctv footage. They can't give it to me for 'security reasons'.

So what should I do? Get in touch with my bank?

Yes, It's come to the stage to hit a chargeback.

Oh right. How would I go along doing that?
Do I get on a phone call with them?
Then I'm assuming I tell them how it was empty and would like my money back.
