Update: still no updates, they said it's normal for the procedure to take long when it comes to loss/theft, I'll keep waiting while asking every now and then for updates

They are truthful.

On one occasion, I experienced a three month long Investigation. Patience Is a must with every SE under similar circumstances.

So after a whole month of emailing back and forth, NOW they want a PR
I could just drop it all and go for a Paypal refund, but I'd rather not taint that account and save it for something else, so... time for a PR I guess

Logic has It, It should've been established within a day or two.

Got the refund at last, less than 48 hours after sending them the PR
If they had asked right away this would've been way less annoying

This clearly demonstrates that a PR Is only required to continue assessing the claim.
