@mothered  thanks for your guides, I need to redeem myself for failing the past huge SE, I won't fail this

I'm in.a low point of my life and I view SEing as one of the ladders I need to climb out of this pit.

Start small bro. You can do easier replacements on comestic item like perfume without even ordering. Gather some photos from eBay etc and contact the manufacturer directly with a good email that's constructed to avoid having to send the item back or work through your email response so it becomes clear you're not able to return. Its approaching to xmas time, retailers/manufacturers are more sympathetic during this period. Ive got over 10 x Creed Aventus replacements within 2 months doing this.

they are still "investigating", i now think DNA shouldnt be used if there is tracking imo, but its a lesson learnt,

At the end of the day without photo evidence of delivery or OTP or even signature, there is nothing to confirm you received it even with tracking information. Just last week I saw an article about a Hermes Delivery driver caught throwing parcels into a field out the back of his car because he couldn't be bothered delivering them haha. anything can happen

I've actually personally witnessed on CCTV footage, a DHL driver arriving at the premises, hanging around for a few minutes (for tracking/GPS confirmation), and leaving with the package In hand.

It's not surprising that carrier drivers are sometimes responsible for nonreceipt of goods.

I did the wrong method, and they didn't budge at all

Can you answer the previous questions, what do you think about "Click and collect"? And is using Air bnb as a drop address safe? Air bnb requires id ( dont want to use a fake) I use a fictitious name so I wonder how I would prove the package is mine if I was in an air bnb? Sometimes the packages don't have great tracking abilities, but for high value items they should

I just need a drop address (ur guide talks about houses that are looking rent), but air bnb seems like a safer option since I will only rent it out for a day and it's guaranteed to arrive there, standing next to a house looks. Suspicious but I could pull it off if I just sent there 15 mins early

Also I don't want the police to find me when I do the SE, but could the seller get my id if they asked the airbnb owner? Just being precautious @mothered

I think a going to a house for rent is probably best for privacy, but I would need to scout the area out first. Also pretend to be on the phone talking to "family" before I pick up the package

It's just that the airbnb has a few pitfalls and that's making sure I can pick up the package even though it hasn't got my name, plus I'm 100% sure the owner and tenants would snitch on me whereas going to a drop would mean only I'm fully responsible for picking up the package, standing outside etc

What type of verification Is needed for collection In your locality?

If you meet the carrier driver at the exact time of delivery to accept the package, as long as the address matches on the consignment, he won't ask for your ID.

A package will arrive at any destination specified on the carrier's manifest.

Given the home Is vacated, you'd give the Impression as though you're the owner by (for example) doing a bit of gardening In the front yard while waiting for the delivery to arrive.

Click and collect merely requires a code for this no id
I won't use airbnb, the money can be used for other endeavours, I will just use an unrented house for a drop.

And thanks, I will just sit in front of the house steps a few minutes before any courier. Arrives, as if I'm waiting for a taxi and be on my phone, no one should suspect a thing tbh
