statiscally it's obvious that there is something close to "life" somewhere else
however there is no way that they reached our planet
We barely managed to have enough ressources for everyone here
so to have more to travel 80/100 years at light speed... no way

I don’t know.. Part of me wants to believe that there is and part of me doesn’t want to believe it.
Mainly because I feel like if there is, if we were to encounter it how would we / they react? I feel like there’s negatives and positives to it but in the end based on humanity’s history I think it’s best to leave alien species alone.

I would think so. Knowing how big the universe is, (or rather, not knowing) it would be irrational to think they wouldn't be out there.
