Paid in full no finance bullshit. That's the way to go. A friend of mine has finance on her car, and she's been paying It off for years. It's not hard to slowly save for a car of reasonable cost and buy It outright. There's definitely something to be said for living within your means. People that have lots of money, are usually great at saving it. Had a friend in college that bought a Mercedes new. Insurance was pricy, he was always behind on payments, and if you asked me he had no business owning one. Paid in full no finance bullshit. Sold it though. Cars like that are just useless, shit ton for gas, shit ton for insurance, and shit ton for maintenance. Though it was fun, why buy a horse that's fast but gets sick a lot and eats a shit ton. I opted for something more modest, Lexus ES Hybrid. The money was borrowed. Typically if you have bad credit, they won't loan you. RE: How to get a car fast - mothered - 07-31-2022 (07-30-2022, 10:42 PM)Oni Wrote: The money was borrowed. For example, I get 1k, that 1k used to go 900$ Uber Eats and money spent that had no value when I woke up the next morning and then 100$ that I would save. Living that way was stupid. Too much detail will ruin the sauce since everyone experiences things differently but I will give you examples. Let’s say you get 1k. Rather than keeping it in the bank I withdrew it all. 20 5$ bills and rest in 50$ and 100$ bills. I would take the 5$ and use it for whatever. The large bills were annoying to spend so I never touched them. Another example, taking a girl out. Don’t. I take them to McDonald’s now and still hit. Drugs. Quit them, useless and whatever the internet tells you no drug is good. Food. Cheap out. Use those 50% off services. Once you find a way to keep money and start having capital this is where you really start. Find something and get good at it. Let’s say cement paving. Follow around a bunch of pavers and see how it’s done. Then do it for cheaper. Even if you don’t make profit just don’t lose money. Once you make a clientele, charge fees. What I kind of did for a side hustle was demographics. I worked at a country club. Spoke with men and found them to be more accepting from women waiters so I stopped trying to sell them something. But women. They listen. I started gaining a long contact list and sold it to a medispa with a commission model rather than paying for each lead. Made 50k+ clean. Regardless money goes everywhere. Tame it like you would a dog. Also eat healthy. Holy fuck junk food is a waste of time and money. I have around 1.7k saved up but want to reach 8k before July 1st. I know it’s unreal expectations but I thoroughly believe I can do it I just need to find some sort of business that would get me there by that time. Anyone have ideas.Hard work pays off RE: How to get a car fast - wizard460 - 09-19-2023 Work smart and work hard. If you only work smart, that means you are lazy. Good luck brother. |
