If the OP's Is situated similarly, then perhaps this may be the cause of the wireless Instability.

yes design flaws as the manufactures try to save space
As long as they're making a profit, they don't seem to care about consumer's needs.

The laptop industry has been getting away with putting shitty products together for huge profits for a long time now, I must say in recent times it's been a bit better but 5-10 years ago it was almost robbery in my opinion.

I can certainly relate to this.

I remember purchasing the Dell Inspiron 510m In mid 2000. It was the biggest load of trash- lost functionality and stability within 3 months, and further Issues thereafter.

I have a midrange MSI Laptop, and I decided to skimp on the bells and whistles for better hardware. Mine is the upgraded model of that range with more ram, 16GB instead of 8GB. As for Asus, my ROG Strix Flare plugged into my desktop works fine, Interesting that the laptop RGB keyboards have quirks.

Unless you're hitting Likes on Facebook alone, 16 GB Is the minimum nowadays.

Are you running any VMs?

8 GB In today's computing Is not enough.

If you're anything like myself and leave your laptop running 24/7, as well as multitask with VMs and 50+ browser tabs open, It'll chew the entire memory In no time at all. If your MOBO can accommodate It, Install an additional 8 GB.

You obviously have 1 x 8 GB stick Installed, leaving 3 slots available. The question Is, does the MOBO accommodate a maximum of 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) or 64 GB (4 x 16 GB)?

Here's a visual of my laptop. I have 32 GB running, with 2 slots not In use. It can accommodate 64 GB- which I'll be purchasing another 2 x 16 GB.

Not on my laptop. I have a server with ESXi for that. 32GB ram, at some point plan to double it.

Good to read.

I'm also looking at upgrading to 64 GB on my laptop. This Is only one VM running with a number of multitasks, and 12 GB has already been chewed.
