Put It to the test, by purchasing an Item that's extremely cheap (a few dollars or so), yet requires a signature on delivery.

Be sure to be home to accept the package. If the driver doesn't ask to sign and drops It a few feet away from where you're standing, then the behavior Is consistent with social distancing due to the COVID-19 virus.

so you're suggesting i buy something cheap and see if they require a signature or not? wouldn't it be different since what i want is around 300 gbp?

What I'm suggesting, Is any cheap Item that "definitely" requires a signature on delivery.

For Instance,  I've ordered a pair of sunglasses that costed 9$ from one particular company who used a specific carrier, and I had to sign for the package.
