I currently have 3 tarantulas, 2 corn snakes and I recently got a dog.
I've even had 2 chameleons in the past which sadly already passed away tho.

It doesn't have to be incredibly hot in there but it has some special lamps to increase temperature during day time yes. Keeping the humidity at a certain level the whole time is way more important.

Even for non-toxic ones? They only have regulations for poisonous snakes where I come from.
