RE: Air Pods PRO - Dec.vs - 11-13-2019

@mothered So i put in the paypal claim and argos have replied back to them and this is what paypal have said " I am sorry, I have checked the order notes and it has been investigated by the Argos Investigations team and confirmed that this order left the store in a sealed condition, we can take no further action. You would need to seek independent advice if you are not happy with this outcome as we will not be able to help you further."

I then replied with "It may have been sealed when it left the store however when it arrived it wasn't sealed. I have paid £250 for these and havent received anything. This is very distressing for me as it is a lot of money that seems to have been a waste. At no point have I come in contact with the air pods. When i received the package there was no seal."

Please help me out. What else can i do???? What should i say?

As mentioned In one of my earlier posts, the moment they said the box was sealed, you should've "Immediately" said that It wasn't when you received It. That's what's caused this Issue. As such, It's an arduous task trying to reverse the process.

For future reference, do not communicate on live chat. The response Is Instant and (as with this SE), you may neglect/forget to provide vital Information. Contact via email- this gives you ample time to respond accordingly and effectively.

Have they responded to this?

Just got a response on paypal and it says:
"Hello,
As my colleague has advised you previously, please seek independent legal advice regarding this issue. We will not be taking any further action."

So wtf?? Surley i cant be screwed there must be a way. And why wont paypal take my side and give the refund?

RE: Air Pods PRO - bapexsupreme - 11-15-2019

Two ways you'll get your money back either call up your bank or call Argos up and keep insisting that you did not receive it and talk to a manager. Had a similar situation like this but with a different company.

This Is ridiculous to say the least. I certainly didn't expect the lack of support from PayPal.

Put this SE aside. Create another completely different account, contact Argos and claim the Item Is faulty. When they request the return, box them- the Item Is light enough to do so. Prior to this though, review their terms and establish whether they (Argos) are responsible for loss of goods during transit. If so, or If there's no mention, you're good to go.

Please Explain this Method a little bit more

The method works globally.

Put simply, you order the AirPods and claim the box was empty on delivery, hence "missing Item" method.

You're most welcome.

I'm trying my utmost best to get this SE to succeed, and exhausting every possible avenue I can think of.
