I go to the drug forums to "have a look" sometimes but last time I went exploring on the dweb, I definitely regretted it. Be careful my friend

First of all, you CAN'T visit onion Tor sites without Tor so telling him to never visit without Tor is redundant. And Tor > all VPNs so I wouldn't bother. Most VPNs log your usage anyway and would sell you out for a dime. If you actually trust a VPN doesn't keep logs just because they say they don't, go ahead and do illegal shit on the Dark web, dumbass.

As for putting tape over webcams, how about just unplugging the fucking thing if you're not using it? God damn. I'd be more worried about keyloggers if I were you. Get a key scrambler.

I agree with you. It's the most retarded statement ever to tell someone to not use TOR to connect to an onion link. Make sure you're using a VPN that doesn't log you're shit. There are some exploits that can bypass TOR's routing system though, which is why using a VPN is a great idea. Just as with your webcam, people forget about their mics to.

Multiple VPNs with Tor as the exit proxy if you're paranoid. But the same exploits that can reveal your real IP on Tor also works with multiple VPNs. Javascript is a big no no. Always keep it off without exceptions. Can't get what you want without it? Too bad.

Good point about mics, I keep mine off when I'm not using it (it introduces background static to my headphones anyway). I rarely if ever hear anyone bring up this security threat, though. It should be common sense.

Not trying to thread hijack , I feel it's relevant here. What would a malicious user do once they've got your IP?

I mean it's not like they're gonna come to your.house and kill you , they could save a lot of hassle by driving 30 minutes and killing someone else.(joke). But seriously , what would they do.

I use whonix, I prefer it for browsing. Tails for more in-depth usage. I'd go as far as to say I personally prefer whonix over tails in all honesty

RE: Dark web - slothic - 05-11-2019

Trying using a unix based operating system such as debain, arch, gentoo, etc for basic looking around but if you're wanting to buy something or go deeper then use an operating system like qubes os, subgraph os, tails or whonix.
