Still wondering specifically how an investigation is avoided. Is it because the second rep you talk to isn't aware the investigation hasn't started??

Another excuse ive used in the past which can be successful is i say i moved. And when i returned to my old house of which the items were supposed to arrive they werent there. Just claim it must be an address mixup or something and dont veer too far from that. If you say you think its stolen ,like stated by op it will begin an investigation. Good luck kids.

investigations begin if the issue becomes too complex or if they think there is another party involved like the mail courier or someone else stealing it. Just make it clear that its THEIR fault and not anyone elses.

I wonder how people avoid specifically when it's been signed for. With what you said it doesn't seem possible.. but refunders I've spoken to promise* no investigation... even though it was signed for.
I just don't know anymore lol I think I'll just give up and send it back.

When the case Is under Investigation, It's on file against the account holder.

Irrespective whom you speak with, they will be aware- It's on record. The moment they bring up the account, the Investigation report will also come up.

Ask yourself that question, amazon won’t believe that your past 6 parcels this month all went missing, be smart Smile
