But in my opinion the people are washed up by the false information that's been fed on them . Maybe some of them act against their will , worked because they're told to . And I somewhat avoid the 'schadenfreude' attitude . Like , they're also human just like us .

I am not saying I'm happy about it. I'm saying that their administration has a history of being careless, so it doesn't come as a surprise.

In this case, so many lives lost due to (as they say) construction failure that could've easily been avoided with proper workmanship. If I'm not mistaken, Chernobyl's loss of life was around 30-35.

I believe you are forgetting the amount of people who were exposed to the radiation throughout the cleanup a lot of those people have died because of the exposure to the radiation, I believe I read somewhere before they linked from 10,000 to 200,000 deaths to the Chernobyl incident but then again they are never "sure" and these figures are predicted. These figures were taken from 1990 to 2004.
I want to correct you, The total number of people who died after the Chernobyl accident from radiation exposure to people is about 600 thousand people, about 4 thousand of them died of cancer or blood diseases. This is the most terrible disaster. I live in 527 kilometers from Chernobyl.
