I could figure out your general location by seeing what times you are online at.
That said, I agree. Signal and Silence should only be used with people who you trust with your number.

If you're going to flash ROMs and custom recoveries, make sure that ADB debugging inside developer settings and developer settings itself are switched off after you have finished. Failing to do this will enable those who target you to easily compromise your security.
