Anything you consume can harm/kill you if to much of it is consumed. Energy drinks are in no way harmful if you drink in moderation (as they recommend.)

Yea this, even drinking too much water can kill you in some spooky ways

Exactly, the only issue is that people want to consume more of a product then it's needed and then they want to play the victim role.
