There is a very small line between unemployed and self employed. For example, I haven't had a job in over a year, but I make a significant flow of cash freelancing and doing automotive work.

What kind of work do you do automotive wise

You're absolutely correct with my addiction to PCs.

In terms of finding a job In that capacity, I love what I do as a hobby and a lot of that Involves Illegal activities which no job will cater for.

Good move.

Take It from someone (being myself), who's a lot older and never took the opportunity to educate myself whilst still young and In school. Although It's never too late to obtain a given certification, It's certainly a lot more difficult to "find work" when you're older.

It's good you have the mindset to pursue a career at a young age. I commend you on that.

I'm getting CompTIA A+ and then heading on to CCNA. If you are going to get those, now is the time, because cloud computing is about to take off, and the need for technicians is gonna be bigger than ever.
