This is some great advice, though. I should start planning my finances.

My plan so far is living a bohemian lifestyle in a camper on my employers parking lot. I mean, i'd be able to pay off debt and get up and travel whenever/wherever I want...heh

I'm speaking from experience and had to learn the hard way.

In terms of my career and where I was heading, I gave very minimal forethought and did It quite tough to get to where I stand now. It's so good to read that you're thinking of planning your finances. Sit down, formulate some realistic strategies and do whatever It takes to achieve your goal(s).

Believe me, you'll be glad you did It at an early age, therefore reap the rewards In the latter stages of your life.
EDIT: Grammatical error.

I would have done everything exactly the same. My regrets do not exceed my happiness at this point in my life. None of us have a working time machine. So, why dwell on the things we would have changed. Instead, observe what you've leaned from your tribulations and try to instill that wisdom into someone else. It's not what you would do if you could go back but what you will do moving forward. Embrace who/what you are and live life without worries. Without pain, we could never know happiness...

*Not* put myself in debt by taking out student loans and going to college. Also, never hooking up with the junkies I have as friends.

This sounds super "English lit professor"-y, but most of the responses here are things people did and regret. Does anyone have something they didn't do and think about what they missed out on, or something you wish you did more?

Hooking up with junkies sounds like a bad idea from the getgo, but everyone makes mistakes. It's good that you learned from them Smile

also, why would you choose not to go to college? What would you have done instead?

this is a great one, too.

There are so many things i didn't do I wish I did. Like, I probably should have studied more n' shit, but i probably should have taken the opportunity to ask that chick out and not have been such a anti-normie

it's difficult to think of things i didn't do, now that i think about it.

I'm still 18...
I don't regret anything.
