RE: Homework - Flashdrive - 03-22-2013 Also pro-tip Always keep it in fractions, when you get into next year teachers don't like decimals at all, and it's easier when you get into more complicated stuff than dealing with decimals. So the answer is basically y= 3.50 right? RE: Homework - Flashdrive - 03-22-2013 (03-22-2013, 01:42 AM)ABC Wrote: Yea, but this year, our math teacher's been telling us to keep it in decimals. So the answer is basically y= 3.50 right? Yeah that's the answer, although they just say that because they think it's more confusing. I'd practice with fractions. Cause once you start doing things like 3 x 3 equations, or 4 x 4 equations I like fractions better. What you guys are doing is a 2 x 2 equation ( 2 unknowns "x, and y" ) RE: Homework - Feat - 03-22-2013 (03-22-2013, 01:44 AM)Flashdrive Wrote: Yeah that's the answer, although they just say that because they think it's more confusing. 3z + 2y = 3x
x + z + y = 4Than you'd use elimination method or substitution to solve for it (or matrices which I don't think you've learned) than you have to solve for x, y, and z. Although don't worry about it it just like the same thing except for you'd solve it differently it takes up like 2/3rds of the page. And no, we haven't learned Matrices yet). RE: Homework - Alex - 03-22-2013 Wow your math is so easy. I miss those days. Butt fuck it, my teacher will probably accept it anyways. |
