I believe it's 12-19-2013, and as for how it was determined, you should ask @luxy.

Yeah, 2012 (and early 2013) make you an oldfeg.. late 2013 and 2014 make you experienced. 2015 and youre still a skid in my eyes.

Site was made in August of 2012. Would make sense. Unfortunately, some people had accounts merged in. So not everyone with an account from 2012 registered here.
