Additionally, one must consider the amount of guns per capita the US has:

This is made more significant through the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution; if foreign invaders attack, citizens have the right to defend themselves.

"You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass." - Isoroku Yamamoto

>Lame excuse for what? That this is a bad thing? You really thing adults that think some magic floating people exist that have a direct line to a man in the sky.
Atheists are just as dumb as Christians.

>What would me moving to America change?
You would have far more freedom of speech, for starters.

You should focus more on your own country's problems. For instance, this blatant attempt to implement Sharia law in the UK:
"The leader of Britain's Labour Party, Ed Miliband, has vowed, if he becomes the next prime minister in general elections on May 7, to outlaw 'Islamophobia.'"
http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/5665/uk-islamophobia-ban

The part about nukes was interesting. Nuclear weapons and their existence is a pretty difficult topic to tackle. I see their necessity in the current world we live in. But that does not make them okay or a good thing. Same can be said for guns. I am actually pretty stumped at the involvement of nuclear weapons because they are not used for their actual use and you can't prove what causes fear in a country with out mass surveying. I actually don't think the world would be much different to how it is now, if nukes didn't exist. I think people will still look back at WW1/2, Vietnam and all other wars and not want to go back to it. But, like the other theory it's all just speculation there isn't an accurate way to know.

You're talking about America being this powerful as a good thing and it's really not. From the American perspective maybe if you want to be the single over ruling power. But think about other countries. The Americans can truly fuck over nearly any country and get away with it because of their armed forces. No country could question America, or go against their values because if it escalated to the point of war, chances are the country that disagreed would be wiped out and America would install a new government that they controlled.

"Atheists are just as dumb as Christians." In what regard? Generally, choice of religion does not contribute to a persons intelligence. But do you really think that believing in Angels is a good thing when talking about intelligence. Put it like this: Going to a job interview, and you start talking about Angels and how they talk to you, or how they are real.

"You would have far more freedom of speech, for starters."
Under the EU we have the exact same free speech as America does. Obama actually ordered what was essentially a gag order about the TPP. Meaning that the only way the public knew that it was happening was from leaked docs.

Thankfully, Milliband and thus Labour is not in office and actualy got very little support. How ever, our current government, the conservatives, are going to still fuck us badly. If you are at all interested watch this video: https://youtu.be/TqnwUSevgo4
Spoiler:
Plus, the Labour party was really fishing for votes this election. They had a HUGE drop in popularity so they had to pick it up where they could. They realized they lost support of the working - middle class significantly so they went after immigrants. It was just pre-election bull shit.

The only British party's policies I wholly agrees with was UKIPs. But the BBC and the general media have made them out to be some what the equivalent of Nazis. I would have voted for them, but they are a new party and thus I don't think could be trusted with real power yet. Next election they will do very well, the election after that I predict Mr. Farage or his successor will be in office.

So the UK Does not have people going through divorce because love did not work for them?

So bill gate did not MAKE Microsoft in the beginning a magical team appeared out of nowhere and did it all? I don't think so. He himself made the software at first then Steve and Bill ended up helping one another as it was starting to grow in the 90s it was not a multi billion dollar company in the beginning.

So the UK is not in debt? as you said smaller country right so if your country was as big as the US don't you think the debt would be pretty damn high too?.

So no other country can impose sanctions against the US? the UK itself has fined American companies millions of dollars.

Weapons have been used since the beginning of the human race, its not going to stop, war will always be a thing.

And stopping the hope of peace look at the damn middle east, look at ISIS your own damn people killing innocent kids, adults, journalists from multiple countries by slitting there throats, burning them alive, throwing them off roofs. YOUR OWN PEOPLE are doing this. Multiple people from the UK have been linked to helping if not joined ISIS. Stop blaming America for violence and no world peace, if you want that then tell EVERY single country in the world that because it will take a global, local, and hard working effort to make that happen.

Look at North Korea putting people in concentration camps, starving people to death, killing them for no reason, killing families for 1 simple mistake.

Look at Russia shooting down passenger planes killing innocent people, invading Ukraine killing multiple people.

Look at Israel, Iran, etc.

You know sure the US has violence but at least we have a justice system that is being improved on. You cannot blame the US for wanting to take down a global threat that not only effects the US but your country as well.

And the Red Cross and other AID does not get paid back. It is all donations and government funding to help the people in need the US asks nothing in return.

First of all, you are assuming I think that the UK is in any regards a good country.

The UK does have religion, but the fact remains.

The UK does have people going through divorce, but again, the fact remains America is still #1.

Bill Gates / Steve Jobs did make Microsoft / Apple. But they did not make the keyboard I am typing on. And the origional point was, you said American made tech. You can't prove that all the tech leading to sinister.li's server is American made. If we're going on who owns companies like that, then my ISP, British, layed the cables making it their tech. I am not running on the first version of Windows, so he didn't make it.

Again, the UK is in debt, just America has higher credit card debt.

You said "fined". That implys they did some thing wrong and needed to be punished. Please, find some examples of this and I'll happily talk about it.

Yes. But it does not make it a good, or just thing. Are you telling me that you would rather live in a world of war than a world of peace?

We where specifically talking about America, that's why I only talked about America. I do believe a world of peace is achievable, but I'm not going to write a 30 page essay on my perfect, but realistic, world.

Yes, that is bad. But they are a powerful country for their size. Does not justify the acts but look at America (Oh this will really annoy you) blew up the world trade center to justify going to war in the middle east so they could install new governments that will sell oil to them cheap, the can further their control and stop any and all hope of destroying America.

Yes, but again, we're talking about America and their downfalls. While these acts are bad, I feel that everything America does combined makes it one of the very worst, if not the worst in the world.

I understand what you mean by "global threat" But who actually decided and told everyone it was a threat? The US. From IS' perspective the west is wrong and from our perspective they are wrong.

You're justice system is not in any way getting better. Look at all the niggers (niggers =/= black people) rioting currently over how they are unfairly treated. Half of them are not going to be arrested for the crimes they commit during the riots and the police forces are too scared to tackle the crime out of fear of being branded racist. That is a broken justice system.

Fair enough about the donations. But they are donations. But that is a donation to a organization not a country.

None of this has ANYTHING to do with the possibility that China hacked the US. While I'm sure you all have points you'd like to make in this debate, it needs to be taken somewhere else. I recommend starting a thread in the "serious discussion" section since this seems like a fitting debate.

Update on China hacking. Second hack exposed sensitive military and intelligence officer data.

https://archive.is/NsJVt

WASHINGTON – Hackers linked to China have gained access to the sensitive background information submitted by intelligence and military personnel for security clearances, U.S. officials said Friday, describing a cyberbreach of federal records dramatically worse than first acknowledged.

The forms authorities believed may have been stolen en masse, known as Standard Form 86, require applicants to fill out deeply personal information about mental illnesses, drug and alcohol use, past arrests and bankruptcies. They also require the listing of contacts and relatives, potentially exposing any foreign relatives of U.S. intelligence employees to coercion. Both the applicant's Social Security number and that of his or her cohabitant is required.

"This tells the Chinese the identities of almost everybody who has got a United States security clearance," said Joel Brenner, a former top U.S. counterintelligence official. "That makes it very hard for any of those people to function as an intelligence officer. The database also tells the Chinese an enormous amount of information about almost everyone with a security clearance. That's a gold mine. It helps you approach and recruit spies."
