Well Linux is more fit for hacking programs, but I've already used Windows 7 before, and though its a reliable Operating System, I was looking for something new. Not too fond of Windows 8, but I do seem some creditable improvements since Windows 7.

But if I HAD to choose, I would say Windows 7, at least it makes me feel that I am using a PC/Computer, not a smartphone...
But that was my PERSONAL opinion, here is my professional one and for free
What do you want to do with it? (gaming, programming, design, hacking...) and what is the specs of your machine? (RAM, HDD, CPU... etc.)
There are tons of articles about (which OS is the best), and I am pretty (and not so pretty pretty) sure (and not "shure", gosh I hate when people spell it that way) that ... :Frown: I forgot what I was talking about!!!
