I miss when you actually had to play to win the game... now it's like "Use WASD to move... good, now go to that wall over there"

"Great, now go here here and here, you need a secret code, it's in this office" etc etc...
Back then you were just thrown into the game and "figure it out b1tch!"... which is how it would have been if you were "there" xD

Yeah i suppose if people get stuck (I'm guilty too) there's always someone to show you how it's done online in a video. I do use strategy guides for some RPGs but only when I've played it through once already.

Ah I see. Have you played Shadow of the Colossus? I wouldn't say that was one of those games. After struggling with a boss for 10 minutes or so, you'll be given a vague clue on it's weakness.
That was hard. But yeah, I know what you mean.
