VPN provides privacy, it protects your data. Tor provides anonymity, it protects you. Never trust a vpn unless they are willing to goto jail for you! I suggest you try using a small OpenWRT router or a rasberry pi and install the grugq PORTAL (Personal Onion Router To Assure Liberty). Its basically a small portable router that gives you a small and private tor based wifi.
If the site you are hacking is blocking tor exitnodes, then try use proxy chains to set up proxies.

For even more security, make sure the internet uplink is not from your home. But if you are up against a high adversary like a nation or agency I'd say nothing would help at that point.

You can use a linux distro to navigate anonymously and also complementer that with a VPN

Although TOR is slow it is he better way...Cause NSA can break any VPN and get the real IP using super computer. So even paid or not VPN can be broke.I suggest u to use TOR if it is a higly legal or a pupular website

To deface anonymously, or better tor or vpn?

Do not want to be tracked, help me.

Give me some tips.

Confusedmiling:

paid vpn is always the best you can use free vpns but they log and are highly unreliable in the long run...

tor is slow as hell and there are now bypasses for it.

My recommendation:

Try a paid VPN (here's the cheapest one I can find online) It has no logs at all and is 100% anonymous (you can even pay with a gift card to be absolutley 100% untraceable see the site for more details)

BEST VPN (I use it myself)

you are very uninformed..... looking at your previous posts your well not spreading accurate or useful information.

the NSA does NOT break VPNs they break ENCRYPTION and they can only break up to AES 128 with an SHA1 handshake.

Just because they break the encryption doesn't mean you've been completely compromised either as they can only see exactly what your looking at at that moment in time. Your VPN will generate a new algorithm every time you send request.... Also most VPNs have entry to endpoint reroute through proxy and secondary tunneling.

Please get your facts straight then distort them at your leisure, and if I could negative rep you I would....

im testing using vpn + tor but im having alot of issues making sure the connection stays live. Is this setup analogous to wearing 2 condoms?
I prefer tor but seems like every spammer and his mother have used exit nodes for nefarious things. Usability is very low and i get search blocked left and right.

Would like to tunnel with vpn through tor if possible.

I recommend you too use VPN, Tor is very slow and have other problems.
If you do illegal-work, buy a VPN who doesn't keep log such as Private Internet Access and others.

A VPN must be the best bet here.

I only use Tor when i'm on a school network.

Good luck.
