Not being able to decompile code in the way you can decompile .NET does not make VB6 a better language. It's missing lots of features and is pretty much obsolete as a whole. No polymorphism/inheritance, encapsulation, operation overloading, parameterized constructors, class-level attributes, etc...
If you rely on the idea of decompiling between VB6 and VB.net is the security, then that's poor; anybody who really wants to crack or see what you're application does will do it eventually. There's ways to make compiled VB.net/C# programs harder to read when an attempt is made for decompilation. Assuming that someone doesn't know how to debug properly with IDA or Olly is not going to make your application any better because it can't be reversed as easily as .NET.
Delphi though? Why Delphi? And Assembly? explain your choices.. I'm not insulting you here either, so no need to post with such anger, that's a childish response...
I'd like to see your views instead of only talking about your views. "Harder to crack" is entirely dependent on the programmer who writing the program too, not the language being used in this case. You can toughen up a VB.net program and make it more time consuming to crack than just a straight application written in VB6, I guarantee it.

If you were not prepared to have your material critiqued in a constructive manner, then you should not have posted it in the public domain whereby your own words you state having done so "to help others."
Thus logic dictates if that is so, check your attitude at the entrance to this Community and let the thread serve the purpose you authored it for, "to help others", including others helping to correct discrepancies so that others you seek to "help" can avoid any needless problems accordingly.

I don't see how this implies anything about what you know or don't know. If anything, it's a question to see why you think what you think. You still never provided me with an answer to my last question. I've been on forums for years, but rarely do I run into people that take my posts the way you just did, so the spotlight shouldn't be on everyone else to blame here. There's more assumptions being made by you than anybody else you credit here for doing that. So my point about forum etiquette here is that you should be looking at what you shouldn't be doing and the way you should not be acting on a forum, rather than trying to point out what everybody else should not be doing, firstly. I'm trying to keep things civilized here, and ask the questions, but they remain unanswered by you, and instead you let your attitude get in the way.
